Ignis: A Step Toward Automotive Brilliance

Big on digital experiences, Nexa assembled a Twitter wall that displayed unabashed viewer appreciation and affection toward the grand spectacle. Owing to its innovative design, the introduction of the Ignis also led to the creation of a new category of automobiles, called the Premium Urban Compact

This year also saw the introducing of the “e-Booking” option to the Nexa Experience

A little less than a year since its launch, the peppy hatchback had made room in the hearts of many across the country, and especially in the records of auto experts, like NDTV Car & Bike, Fly Wheel Auto awards, Times Auto, Autoportal , Motoring World and Topgear that tagged it the “Hatchback of the year 2018”.

Its unconventional design, premium feel and the excellent drive quality made it an all-rounnd winner.

The Ignis is nothing short of a global phenomenon since its launch, having contended for accolades like Urban Car of The Year 2017 at the 13th annual World Car Awards 2017. The “Urban Car” category was instigated for the first time in 2017, in response to changing market trends. The Ignis qualified and stood proud among the top three in the category.

The futuristic hatchback has been received very well by critics as well as consumers for the simple reason that it packs fashion with function. You’ll never miss an Ignis on the road because of its compact yet spectacular design and easy maneuverability—zipping across crowded and narrow lanes like they were wide-laned expressways!

Speaking of design, high ground clearance and the “Tall Boy” stance give it an edge over low-floored cars that unwillingly accept defeat across the bumpy and bendy roads.
